We shoot two styles of boudoir photography. Our natural light style of boudoir photography is soft, tasteful, sexy and romantic. And then we have our dark, moody, naughty style, which is crisp and hard edge, using flash. We will discuss the best style for you on our discovery call and also before your session. We can also combine the styles.

A boudoir experience is not just about creating beautiful sexy images, it's about finding your true self again and seeing yourself through someone else's eyes. It's about finding a confidence and self appreciation that you did not know could be possible. It's about learning to love and accept yourself as you are gorgeous just as you are.

Whether you are doing the shoot for yourself or as a surprise for a special person, this experience will be an investment that you will never regret.

You don't need to have experience in modelling for a boudoir experience as we will guide you every step of the way. We know how to pose you to accentuate your best assets and play down the ones you are not so happy with. With over 12 years of experience photographing thousands of lovely ladies, we know exactly how to pose and style you for the very best results. 

You can wear as much or as little as you wish. This is your dream session and we want you to be comfortable. We will work together to design the right boudoir experience for you. It will be relaxed and fun.

We shoot in both natural light and flash and will choose the best lighting to suit you and the results you are wanting to achieve. You definitely do not need to be 20 years of age or a size 8 to do a boudoir shoot. Women of all ages and sizes are beautiful and we will make sure that not only will you have amazing images, but that doing this session will give you a massive confidence boost and change the way you see yourself!

YOUR BOUDOIR EXPERIENCE

On the day of your session we know you will be nervous, and that is totally normal. Just take a deep breath and relax as you are in excellent hands. It is our job to get amazing photographs for you, not yours! We will show you every pose and guide you every step of the way for beautiful images that will take your breath away.

For Arrival

Our sessions are held in our home studio in Bulimba, South Brisbane. We have a dedicated studio which is private without risk of walk-in traffic. We usually start our sessions at 9.30am and you can expect to be with us for around 3 to 3.5 hours which includes time to view your images right after your session. 

We will ask you not to wear anything tight into the studio to avoid marking your body. Please arrive without a bra and with very loose knickers and preferably a loose dress over the top. Please bring a robe to wear during your hair and makeup or you can use our studio robes. This will avoid clothing marking your skin while sitting in the makeup chair.

We will also have you arrive without makeup and with clean, dry hair without product (washed and allowed to dry naturally the night before). Your nails should be clean, neat and with either clear or no varnish. If you are shooting vintage you can varnish in red but please do not arrive with black, green or blue nails as they will be very prominent in the photographs.

The Session 

Your hair and makeup will take around an hour and during that time we will be planning out your session and choosing the outfits that we think will work the best for you, from the selection that you bought with you. Please bring 4 - 6 different outfits. We have oversized mens shirts and lace robes that you are free to use, and we will usually add some white sheet images to your collection, either nude or using white lingerie. We will also ask you if you would like to add any art nude images to your selections. 

Once your hair and makeup is done and you look even more awesome, the real fun begins as we get into taking your photos. Your session will go for up to 90 mins depending upon the amount of images you wish to have. We will then view the images right after your session on our 75" big screen while you relax with a tea or coffee. This is when you will choose the images that you wish to purchase and decide on the package that will suit you the best.

Can you bring a friend  

Yes, we are perfectly OK with you bringing a friend or partner for moral support as long as you are comfortable with them being in the room with you. We will ask that they watch quietly and do not distract you. If they draw your attention through the session and distract you from your posing, we may ask them to leave the studio and grab a coffee on Oxford Street which is a block away. Please do not bring children to your session as you will not be able to focus at all and it will likely ruin your experience.

WHY CHOOSE US

We capture the style of image you want.

During our pre-shoot phone consultation we will discuss the style of images you wish to achieve. We will talk about why you want to do a boudoir session and whether the images are for yourself or for your partner. This will give me insight and allow me to prepare in advance for the poses and lighting styles we will use for you on the day. 

We will go through this again when you are having your hair and makeup done to make sure that we are all on the same page and that the images are exactly as you want them to be. 

Editing of images. 

All of our images are beautifully and professionally edited before they are sent to you. Dean does all editing himself and after editing thousands of photos and with over 12 years of experience, he knows exactly what you will want edited. If you have concerns about a particular area of your image we can discuss that when you are viewing your images, right after your session. We can soften age lines, remove under eye circles, remove stretch marks, bruises, small tattoos, scars and trim arms, thighs & legs but rest assured, the images will not look over retouched and will still look like you.

The experience.

The first thing you will notice is how relaxed and inviting we are. Our beautiful fur baby, Sammie will be there to greet you on arrival and will snore away during your makeover. Ladies all comment how her presence makes them feel relaxed and as though they are at home. Our professional hair and makeup artists are just lovely and will pamper and chat with you while you listen to music and watch other boudoir images scroll though on our large studio screen. We will make sure you are comfortable and offer tea, coffee or cold water while you are being pampered.

Dean and I absolutely love what we do and we both get immense enjoyment when we can give our lovely ladies their dream boudoir experience and stunning images. Our ultimate goal is to help you gain more confidence and self love.

Our delivery process.

Once you have chosen your dream package and paid in full, we will get to work on editing your images. If you have elected to use our interest free payment option, we will save and back up your images safely until the payments have finished, and then edit.

The first step is to send you your edited high resolution digital images which will be in 3 or 4 different colour options. We will email these to you as a download link. If you have chosen a digital only package, this will finalise your order. Simply download the images to your laptop or desktop and save. If you would rather us send out a USB, simply let us know. Most ladies prefer the digital download as it is faster than waiting for post and they are usually very excited to get their images.

If you have ordered an album, prints or wall art, we will ask you to choose your colour variations for this. There will be instructions for choosing your images for your album or prints in your email. Simply email back your selections and we will get to work preparing your beautiful products. When ready you can elect to collect in person or have them posted to you.

Beautiful products. 

While it is great to have the digital images and to have the amazing experience of a boudoir session, we really love you to print your images so that you can look at them every day. We all know that once images stay on your phone or ipad they become buried in the multitude of daily snaps and will rarely be looked back upon. If you hang a stunning image on your bedroom wall you will look at it every day and remind yourself of just how amazing you truly are. How powerful and how confident. A stunning leather bound album can be handed down to a daughter or become a precious keepsake for your partner, to be looked at and loved for many many years.

Couples Boudoir. 

We have been photographing couples boudoir for over 12 years and we absolutely love helping couples to record their relationship. Whether you want a fun, sexy or romantic style, we can give you amazing images that you will both treasure for a lifetime. Same sex couples are definitely welcome. For same sex female couples please add an extra $165 to the pricing for a second hair and makeup. 

Image privacy.

Of course we would love to be able to show your images to other women just like you who are thinking about a Boudoir experience BUT please be assured that we NEVER use images without the client's written permission and then you can tell us which images you may be happy to allow us to use. We respect your privacy at all times and if you do not wish your images to be see online, they will FOREVER remain PRIVATE.

All you need to do is to fill in the form below and I will call you back within 24 hours. If you prefer you can schedule a call to suite your schedule. I will call you, talk about what you wish to achieve from your session, the style if images you would like and we can set your date. You should try to book your session 4 weeks in advance. We take bookings Thursdays to Sundays but can make exception for other week days if they are the only days you have free.

We require a $200 deposit to hold your date. This can be paid over the phone by card or we can send you a link to pay online. Once you have paid your deposit, we will book your hair & makeup artist and send you more details to help you to prepare for your experience with us. Your deposit must be received before your date is locked in or your makeup artist is booked.
